Without doubt guys, new to TSF, just signed up today since it were. Ive been fiddling all-around with my PC for a little bit now (I built it myself some three years back) and every time I hit a virus problem I just now format as I have 2 hard disks and I generally save everything I really should the other one, and everything else Weve on my C drive is just useless anyways. Recently I had recently been noticing major CPU usage problems in almost every program. For example, whenever I was getting rid of a CD in iTunes, or even scrolling by means of my songs, or when I did anything in a very program other than allowing it to idle (except pertaining to iTunes which plays music no problem and Internet Explorer) my personal CPU usage percentage would skyrocket into the 90100% range. Obviously, very frustrating if anyone spent a pretty penny putting a 1024MB of ram in the computer and getting a fantastic processor, and having it work just the summer years no problem when using the occasional formats. So I figured it was before just a virus problem and after a couple of attempts to clean it, I decided it was probably time to do to format my computer as my iTunes new music store was also presenting me errors and these. I formatted both hardrives this time though, as I was rather annoyed with having to move forwards and backwards. I started everything back up, reinstalled windows XP, video card software, the whole bit, but to my dismay, immediately after I open a plan my CPU usage shoots back. I spent a measure scanning my computer once more, using memory boosting items, using msconfig, etc., but after a while I just decided it would probably be easier in to the future on to this forum and get if anyone knew what was taking place ,. Im thinking it could possibly be an actual memory appliance problem and I may must replace one of the particular sticks, but any and all help can be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Coach.
